I have used a former version of this product. This new one is worth the money. It will not do all the things that PhotoShop will do, but it works fine for fast fixes that I often use for customer proofs. I'm happy with this product.Customer Review: Great software

It is amazing what you can do with this software. I have yet to learn everything you can do with it, but have used many of the basic functions to edit pictures and have found it easy to use. I would recommend this software.Customer Review: Learn how to edit your registry!

Corel has taken a very good product, Paint Shop Pro, and turned it into junk that won't run or even let you remove it without manually terminating the processes it runs in the background. After it seemed to run fine, on day 32 (possibly 31, as it wasn't run that day) it ceased to operate at all. This was a fully licensed copy, not a trial. So their return system won't even respond since it's over 30 days old - good timer they have.
Unless you want some practice editing your registry to remove all of the corel crap, don't buy this turkey.

PSPX2 Ultimate works fine on Vista and is quick and easy to run. Problem is that it won't read RAW data from my Canon T1i. Corel tech support responded to my query by agreeing that the T1i is not supported, but wouldn't give me any info on a forthcoming patch. Good program -- but not if it can't read your files. Bad tech support system. You send a question, they send an answer, you respond to their answer, and your response is bounced back.Customer Review: excellent

Excellent. Stands as a reasonable alternative to Adobe Photoshop. A decendent of Micrographic. Does things that I am not sure if photoshop does, such as perspective correction.
